Every conversation or discussion that includes people, places, events or processes, is an example of providing an informative speech. For example, You are explaining to your friend how a particular device is helpful for you or a professor explains the concept. It can be based on anything technology and science, business, management, a general discussion of political views, health and awareness, many more. But it is different from a persuasive speech where the listeners are encouraged to take the action and not just inhale the information. You can easily identify which one it is.
